DipECVDI, EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Case of the Month contributor at Veheri

Thorsten is a veterinary diagnostic imaging specialist and a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (DipECVDI), recognised as an EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. He studied veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, qualifying in 2014, and completed his doctoral research there in the Clinical Department of Diagnostic Imaging, on contrast-enhanced ultrasound of peripheral lung masses in dogs and cats. He then completed his ECVDI residency at Ghent University in Belgium (2017–2021).

He regularly teaches CT, MRI and emergency imaging webinars for veterinarians. He works as a diagnostic imaging specialist at AniCura Kleintierzentrum Asterlagen in Duisburg.
